On the beautiful Autumnal day of the 15th October we made our way to the magnificent Kelham House Country Manor Hotel in Kelham, Newark for the wedding of Rob and Josie.
Josie and and her bridesmaids were getting ready inside and we took ourselves up to the bedroom to begin filming the hubbub of activity going on in there. Josie and her four bridesmaids were having their hair and make-up professional done and applied. The atmosphere was great and i had a real laugh filming with these ladies!
Once the bridesmaids were ready, it was time for all but one of them to wait downstairs in anticipation of seeing Josie for the first time in her dress.
With Josie in her dress she descended the stairs to oo’s and ah’s from her bridesmaids, mother and father. We love capturing this moment!
Bridesmaids and mother of the bride were sent off to the church while Josie and her father climbed into a beautiful classic car. They were driven in style to the beautiful All Saints Church in Collingham where Josie walked elegantly down the isle to meet her soon-to-be husband Rob.
The ceremony was lovely and Rob and Josie emerged from the church to greet their nearest and dearest as the new Mr & Mrs Busby!
It was all back to Kelham house for their reception, where on arrival everyone was offered drinks and photographs were taken of the happy couple and their guests.
Rob and Josie held a receiving line, which lead guests into Kelham House’s beautifully decorated garden room. With lovely centre pieces on each table and the tables being named after U2 songs! (Which we hear are a favourite of Rob’s!)
Speeches were undertaken to open the reception and had guests laughing and cooing, followed by gorgeous food and mingling.
We had the great job of capturing the couple cut their cake… which they did with a sword! Apparently a family tradition, as Rob’s mother and father cut their own wedding cake with the same sword. This was followed by the couple’s first dance, which was beautiful to witness.
The dance floor was then opened for guests to party the night away!
Thank you once again to Mr & Mrs Busby for letting us capture your perfect day on film, we hope your future is filled with joy and happiness!
